I’m AC McRowan, a queer, AuDHD-fueled storyteller with more ideas than time and a mild addiction to painted nails.
I came out as bi in my late thirties, then realized I’m a sex-positive ace in my mid-forties, and somewhere in between decided that “gender-nonconforming guy” was close enough—at least on days I’m not wearing a skirt. All this vibrant chaos finds its way into my stories.
During the day, I have a full-time not-at-all-queer day job; by night (and occasional weekends), I write queer fiction filled with coming out, awkward crushes, messy feelings, found family, and sex (or absolutely none of it) told vividly in first person.
My AuDHD brain comes with RSD, wobbly focus, and glorious hyperfocus, so I don’t publish on a strict schedule. I write in wild bursts: long stretches of “thinking about the story” followed by “oh wow, I just finished one.” If you stick around, new words will appear… just not on a set timetable.
Currently, I am also working on a dystopian cyberpunk novel that explores the concept of forced Lavender Marriage.
